Christine is Designology Studio’s spirited CEO whose expertise and enthusiasm guide our projects from consultation to construction. Growing up in Santa Barbara with her family having businesses in masonry and construction, she developed a unique appreciation for the intersection of architecture and interior design. Since establishing her interior design business in 2003, Christine has formed countless positive relationships across the design and construction trades.

Crafting her own style with a blend of traditional and modern and focusing on the careful selection of materials, furnishings, colors, and textures, she creates balanced and inviting homes that breathe California's coastal mid-century flair. Christine holds her degree in interior design, is an allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), and is a member of the National Kitchen & Bathroom Association (NKBA).

Christine, her husband, and their two children recently moved from Santa Barbara into a more spacious home in Ventura, where they’ve loved exploring the new area. When she’s not designing, you’ll find Christine spending quality time with her family, catching a good movie, shopping local boutiques, or touring model homes and gaining new inspiration.

With over 9 years of experience in design consulting and a degree in graphic design, Lauren’s grounded energy and sharp organization skills are key factors in keeping behind-the-scenes operations running smoothly. During her previous role at a prominent local tile store, Lauren fell in love with the design process and the magic of helping clients bring dream spaces to life. Her cheerful disposition and the belief that beautifully designed spaces truly elevate our happiness manifests throughout her work.

A West Coast native, Lauren grew up in the beautiful Santa Cruz mountains and spent many great years in Santa Barbara before calling Portland home. A nature aficionado, she's always lived near the mountains or beach to fuel her love of the outdoors. Catch her on the weekends playing disc golf, relaxing at the beach, or enjoying the fresh air with a beer on a patio.

An avid furniture re-arranger as a child, and an investor in an unruly amount of time on The Sims as a teenager, Interior Design has coursed Kristin’s veins since a very early age. As a FIDM Interior Design graduate with additional degrees in Behavioral Sciences and Relational Development, Kristin brings her unrivaled intuition and bright and bold spirit to the Designology Studio Team. With her ability to tune in to a client’s vision by “listening between the lines,” Kristin is an asset to the team when it comes to the design process and instinctive decision-making. As Designer + Drafter, Kristin collaborates with the whole DS team to create functional, exciting, and personal spaces for clients to call “home” for many years to come.

A Southern California Native, Kristin was raised along the same coast that drives a large majority of her design inspirations. Laidback and casual but elevated and eclectic, Kristin loves earth-inspired textures and patterns with warmer color palettes.

In her off time, you’ll find Kristin surfing on the weekends, hosting friends and family at her home, cooking, and practicing strength and flexibility at a local pole fitness studio.
